Yael Simon is a strategist and Funding Architect. Through Arakura Consulting she advises ultra-high-net-worth individuals, private family offices and governments on investment and philanthropy. Over more than 25 years she has helped generate more than $300 million in philanthropic capital.
She founded Arakura Tech, where her work spans AI and a women's accelerator, and the AMPLIFY investor summit. She co-founded FinTel Security, a financial-intelligence firm built with former Israeli military-intelligence and financial-crime investigators. She is a Venture Partner at Arosa Capital, and was previously a consultant and senior project manager to the Ronald S. Lauder Foundation.
She holds an LL.M in International Business Law, with a dissertation on money laundering and terror financing. In 2024 she gave the valedictory speech at her Oxford graduation. Her research project, The Art of the Deal with God, draws on more than 100 interviews with women in over 15 countries about how they see their own worth.
Yael mentors women in business, sits on the board of Global Jewry, and is a speaker and a writer. Her writing has appeared in the Jerusalem Post Magazine. She lives in London, with strong ties to Jerusalem and New York.
